Soccer South Soccer Club News
- Picture day is Saturday September 6th. This is much earlier then usual, so please get the information out to your players
- Field day this year will be handled during the week nights in the upcoming 2 weeks. I will work with the coaches in the U6, U8, and U10 divisions on a good time to try and get some families out to help get these fields built. For U12 and the 2 11 v 11 fields, I will work to find some volunteers to get those handled as well.
- Please remember that our referees are learning the game, and at no time is it acceptable to yell or say negative remarks towards an official. This not only goes for players and coaches, but also for parents, so please make sure to discuss the importance of sportsmanship with your families before the season starts. It is also equally important that we do what we can to avoid a severe lopsided score, even if scores are not officially kept.
- Drake Passes are in the coaches packets. All coaches and SS players should receive a pass that entitles them to free entry to all Men and Women home Drake Soccer matches played at Cownie Soccer Complex. The Drake men have an exhibition game tomorrow night.
