FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

General registration information for  Fall 2017 is coming soon

Q: What is the practice schedule for the teams?

A: The practice schedule is determined by the coach and can vary.   Coerver Iowa runs a clinic once a week on Mondays. Coaches can then schedule additional practices for other nights and/or at other locations. Older teams often practice twice a week for an hour or a little more.  The best way to set the schedule? Become a coach :) If interested in coaching, please email us at coaches@soccersouthdsm.org anytime.

Q: How do I determine which age group my child fits in?

A: Beginning in 2016, age groups will be determined according to the calendar year, rather than the school year. US Youth Soccer has a handy table that will help you. Click here to go to that page.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: We are sorry but for the safety of all we simply cannot allow any pets on the fields. There are signs posted on the field about this and other rules and we need your help in following them to keep everyone safe and free to play soccer.

Q: Do you have a map of the complex?

A: Indeed we do  Here :)

Q: How do I become a referee?

A: To be a referee, you must be at least 12 years old and complete a training class. Classes are offered through www.iowareferees.org.
